Senior Programmer (.NET)

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will provide analysis, programming and design expertise for our APEXWare™ mobile worker solutions. You will lead a project team of developers providing overall technical guidance to your team members and serve as the point of contact for technical issues. In addition, you will perform hands-on programming as required and work with client end users in gathering requirements and process flows. Your expertise will help shape the future of our mobile worker solutions. Travel to client sites within Canada and the United States may be required.

The ideal candidate must be dedicated leader, highly self-motivated with a strong technical background, have excellent communication skills and a proven ability to analyze and tackle difficult problems and provide innovative software solutions.

Qualifications:

• Must have minimum of ten (10) years experience of relevant application design and development experience on the .NET platform
• Specific software development skills required: Project Analysis/Design and Management; Microsoft .NET platform (C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Visual Studio.NET)
• High proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server or Sybase databases
• Extensive experience in programming, system integrations and analysis, and project management
• Previous experience with mobile applications and Window mobile o/s is a strong asset
  

Other Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Responsible, self-motivated and self-directed individual who is energetic, inquisitive, and a team player with effective time management skills
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills in leadership, conflict resolution and good customer relationship skills
• Familiarity with standard System Development Lifecycle methodologies such as Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, classic structured Analysis and Design
• Previous work experience managing projects through the entire SDLC, including system architecture and design experience
• Must have a valid driver's license and a vehicle
